FOIA reveals, No Bumpstock has ever been used in a crime.

But they were banned because of Vegas ?
Somethings rotten here.

Note: We will be hearing more about bumpstocks. A Texas gun dealer has a lawsuit against the Feds because he was forced to destroy 75,000 bumpstocks.

Vegas was a pretty serious crime. Was it 58 murders? I forget the numbers.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Sure, but do you ban things because they once were used (once!) in a crime?

If so, we should obviously ban knives... And Ice picks, and screwdrivers, boxcutters obviously...
Better ban cars and trucks, there's been several incidents of people using those in crimes.
My grandfather was blind in one eye because a kid put a pencil in his eye in like 5th grade, we better ban pencils.

Remember, one solitary incident is enough to ban it, whatever it is.

That kind of deliberate failure to understand your opposition is what makes discussing the issue so toxic.
Gun advocates exaggerating the desires of those who want sensible restrictions just ends all debate.
Very few people want ALL gun ownership restricted.
If someone even suggests something like registration of guns you just shout ''gun grabbers'' and refuse to budge an inch.
I think the demographic time bomb is against you in the long run though.
More and more kids are sick of the fear of going to school and getting shot up. They'll win in the end.

There is nothing further to discuss.

Think Locally, Act Locally.

Commerce City Becomes Second Amendment Sanctuary City
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – Two months after Gov. Jared Polis signed the state’s “red flag” gun bill into law, another Colorado community has declared itself a Second Amendment sanctuary city. Five members on the Commerce City Council voted for the resolution Tuesday night, two voted against and two abstained from the vote.

More than half of Colorado’s counties have adopted similar language which refuses to enforce the law that takes effect in January 2020, but most of those counties are in rural parts of the state that are Republican strongholds. Commerce City is the first city in the Denver metro area to adopt Second Amendment sanctuary status.
