False. You are demonizing the opposition, by pretending most of them are evil masterminds, when most are just misguided rubes who are blind to their own hypocrisy. By your definition, most democrats are not true democrats. If you think most Democrats don't have giant blind spots, and are aware of every instance of their own hypocrisy, you aren't paying attention.

Even if you were right, Democrats don't speak for everyone, and just because some Democrats take pride in nothing, doesn't mean most people take pride in nothing, projecting the views of Democrats on most people, is what keeps the Democrats trapped in their echo chamber and losing elections.
