You are funny. Parents being responsible? Pfft... this current batch of parents want to be friends, not adults.AverageJoe wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 4:35 pmOr parents could grow a pair and tell their kids No.The Conservative wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:40 pmhttps://engt.co/2VmyL8w

Why the fuck do you think that kids are doing what they are doing today?
Seriously, I have a better chance of becoming president than an entire generation of parents growing a backbone and tell their kids no.

Yeah that new one was trying to be an Assasins Creed clone. Epic fail. The Conservative wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 11:37 amMechWarrior and MechWarrior II, loved those games. Let's hope this isn't like Thief... in where they destroyed a classic.

I wouldn’t even call it that... it was so much less. It felt like that it was trying to walk you through everything.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 7:57 pmYeah that new one was trying to be an Assasins Creed clone. It’s one of the few games I returned because it’s simplicity and lack of real true to the original was never there.
The new Thief felt like an SJW anti-hero instead of being the badass he really was.

Not any real programming language. Just the simple instruction set to control the virtual robot. What it does teach you is a little about agent architecture and very basic AI programming.
Just looking at the gameplay videos, I'd say the language is a simplified Python-like language. So there may be some carry over, but not much.
