Or Jon gets to keep Drogon after Dany dies. I can see a way Drogon lives, however, killing it is also very likely.
Are you kidding me?
Drogon is an extension of Danaerys... having him switch loyalties is inconceivable.

Not at all, Jon is a Targaryen, and Drogon knows it. Another reason why Dany is so insecure about her claim to the throne. The dragon switching loyalties to a non-Targaryen is inconceivable, to another Targaryen, not so much. Drogon won't turn on Dany, but if she dies, it's loyalty is going to be to Jon above anyone else.

This is without a doubt the worst season of television I have ever seen.... Horrible. And this is coming from the guy who said season 7 was unwatchable as were season 6 and 5.
You sound like the customer who complains that his food was inedible as he pushes the empty plate across the table.
This is why this thread went to shit. Personal attacks and negativity.

How about telling us your actual thoughts instead of just trolling heydaralon? What's your beef with this season? I see it as a big upgrade on the previous three seasons thus far, three out of four episodes were really good, and they set up the last two episodes pretty well.

Its just filler man. Pure filler. Fan pleasing meet ups. Boring stories with quick gotcha resolutions. By far the worst season.

The first episode wasn't so great, but the last three have not been filler. I haven't been bored at all. Not even close to as bad as the last three seasons, don't know what show you're watching. The two set up episodes before the big battles, were some of the best character building the show has ever done.

You're straying way too hard into GoT hater land, grasping at straws to attack it, like Trump haters hating on Trump.

All the characters suck now. I don't give a shit about Brienne or any of the people they spend half the episode on. The only good part of the last episode was when Cersei cuts off that afro woman's head. But tbh, I didn't give a shit about her character either beyond the fact she was hot. They need to just end it with Cersei capturing every other character in that show (except maybe the hound) and just show her slowly torturing them. Have like 3 episodes of that (especially sansa, arya, brienne, and samwell) with Cersei's maister coming up with create ways to make them suffer. Also I'd like to see Bran wheeled to the edge of a cliff and pushed off. Then the hound and his brother fight. Then the show can end. To be honest, that would be a better ending than what they have planned.

Nah, Make Jon Snow Interesting For Once, backstab Dany ftw. Cersei torching everyone is not interesting, not at all. You'd be the only person who liked that ending.

I'm sorry man, I know you like the show and I'm not trying to start anything, but it has flatlined for years. We can't be in denial about this much as we love Benihoff and Weiss. They are solid dudes, and their social justice credentials are impressive, but they just didn't have enough strong female characters man. Its not fair to the women who work on set and don't even get acknowledged.

The show has bounced back in the final season, thus far, and returned to it's old form in the first four seasons, unless they fuck the ending up, that isn't going change. You're right about it going downhill in the previous three seasons, but this season is not an extension of that trend, at least to this point. You just want this season to suck, and are tunnel visioning only on what you perceive to be negatives, you aren't seeing it clearly.

If you really don't like the show as much as you claim, there is no point in continuing to watch it. So why would put yourself through it if you think the show is as bad as you say? Fallacy of sunk costs?
