Where he interviews James Burke and you actually get the virtual reality of what its like inside his studio with the soundproof walls and everything. You would even be able to see James Burke on skype through the VR headset. That would be a hard episode to produce technically, so it might end up costing $50 to purchase, but you really couldn't get that anywhere else...

Why don't the alt-right decide to self-identify as Jews? What could they do to you then?

It seems like it could be cool, but I probably won't be going to a film festival to watch it.
It's hard to imagine Dan being able to crank out VR casts on any kind of a schedule.

"A buck a show" is all he asks... I'm sure that's sustainable.

This would be pretty cool actually. I'd give it a shot if it's not $100 for 15 minutes.
Personally I think they are building it up too much. It's going to be more real than anything out there to date, but if you wanted to really put someone in that type of situation it would have to be such that the person could at least get minor injuries at a bare minimum.
Why not make the barbwire real so a person could actually get cut, make the ground move from shell blasts like a flight simulator, have them put on headphones with machine gun fire and shell bursts that would damage hearing, pipe in the smells of burning hair and flesh, urine and excrement.

Let's just put them through boot camp.
Boot Camp for Betas is now open for business (actually not a bad idea if you consider it).

Also only a small niche of folks would actually like what you describe, and they wouldn't be enough to pay the costs of it. Next you'll be like, why don't they turn the holodeck safeties off?
