Hillary won the Democrat nomination fool, even she beat Bernie Sanders, that's how weak this field is.

Never said Biden was going to beat Trump, just that he's the frontrunner in a field of chumps in the Democrat Primaries. Not because Biden is a good candidate, just because the other candidates are even worse than him, and the ones who aren't don't have a shot at winning.

He is surging, not crashing. He might crash later, but he's not crashing right now. You're delusional.

Yeah, I'm sure the polls are off by 14-30 points or even more, you're right.

The dem line up is not really that weak. The establishment dems like Biden, Harris, Beta, etc. are weak as fuck. The so-called "fringe" candidates look strong to me, but it's not clear who will come out ahead. Yang actually has the biggest idea and that could carry him through.

I think Bernie's time is over, but he might give it a good running.

The fringe candidates are weak, the fringe only wins when the fringe is strong, and the establishment is weak, the establishment being weak is not enough. Trump's don't grow on trees.

Ideas don't win elections, vacuous slogans that appeal to the rubes do. Whoever sells the best sizzle wins, policy wonkery doesn't win. Wonkity Wonk Yang ain't got a chance.

Ideas matter.

The person who wens the dem primary is going to have a big idea that captures the imagination of the electorate, like Trump's wall did to the republican electorate in 2016.

Weakness is defined as those who run on who they are rather than any ideas that matter, whether their connection to the Obama admin or their race/gender. I.e. every establishment candidate except Beto, who is literally weak and cannot win.

Build That Wall is a vacuous slogan. Trump didn't go policy wonk on the border and immigration dude, he was deliberately vague for a reason, so people would project their version of border security on Trump, and it was a big boon to his getting elected. Wishful thinking analysis is obvious.
