The only movie I've seen in the theater in over a decade was Alita Battle Angel the other month. I dunno why but the trailers intrigued me enough to go see it. Certainly wasn't "blockbuster" material, but I liked it. Other than that very few new movies, even when they come on Prime, really grab me - I did kinda watch the Death Wish remake (Bruce Willis), but honestly I skipped through sections of it because it didn't really grab me.

I was a fan of the old Inspector Morse BBC series, so I watched Inspector Lewis (follow on series) and Endeavour on Prime... The Jack Ryan series on Prime was ok, but as far as movies go I prefer watching the older classic ones to anything new - a lot of new movies seem but on flashy cgi and stuff and low on good writing. Plus I see a growing trend to inject "woke" progressive shit in for no good reason other than to push their agenda. Nothing more annoying IMHO than using a movie to push your political agenda, when most people watch movies to escape the outside world for the most part.

Netflix has been going downhill for a while now, they are trying to stave it off with original content, but the signal to noise ratio on that front is simply speeding up that downhill movement.

They also have one of the worst UIs ever created. Stop pushing the same few shows to me for weeks. Meanwhile, there is a ton of other stuff available that I would only know about if I knew to search for it and already knew it was on Netflix. They need a "no thanks" tag I can place on things so that they never show up in the suggestions ever again.
