The Netflix of Podcasts

Post by DrYouth »

So I hear History on Fire is joining podcast subscription service Luminary.... $8/month...

How many other podcasts will be getting under one of these tents?

Seems like podcasting is going through a major transition.

Not going to work. Lots of podcasts are already bailing on them. This is just an effort by MSM to gain control. Are you gonna pay the 8 bucks to hear Daniele Bolelli?

I wouldn't give that Red Army Brigade Wop a greasy piece of penne to listen to his drivel. Dude is like that person at the yard sale who tries to sell an old copy of Reader's digest for like $15. Nice try, guido.

I can't even listen to him for free. What with luminarys like Trevor Noah, Lena Dunham and David Axelrod though AND Daniele Bolelli??????.... Shit, here's my money, yo.

I would like to hear a multi-parter on the history of EBT. I'd be willing to pay like $30 for that martian perspective. Is that among their offerings?

Dan Carlin is Jewish so he will probably do something similar. Jews love money and Dan Carlin is a Jew.

I looked through the offerings...

Nope.

I might wait till her accumulates a pile of podcasts and then take the free month.

A buck or two a show is fine... but $8 a month... when the only show I'm interested in is HOF.... no thanks.
