I’m sure cops will take it extra easy on folks they’re arresting now that they know people who fuck them up during an arrest won’t be charged. I bet shootings won’t climb at all. Nor people being beaten unconscious before being cuffed. Nope. Cops will just become extra courteous now.
What motivation do they have to look in the mirror? I only see a motivation for them to render arrestees unconscious or dead “for their own safety” from this.

They already do that now, so I don't see any loss in confronting them.
The same city council forbidding them to ask arrestees their citizenship status, or to cooperate with ICE. The same city council who has convinced them to stop policing crimes committed by the homeless, so they’ve simply stopped. Now, the same city council is telling them if they arrest a perp and he fucks them up, so be it.
... this isn’t leading to some mass introspective exercise on behalf of officers. It’s leading to cops who don’t police crime because “fuck it”.
How much are we supposed to pay to fund a non-policing police force who is not motivated to make sure we’re in no shape to resist if they’re ever forced to actually come out and arrest one of us?
I don't have any time for the cops and their whining, I don't think they do anything for me, they are mostly out to bust me for chickenshit while they have no effect on the actual criminals.
I don't run to the cops, I do everything I can to avoid them, I see them as an armed criminal gang unto themselves.
I think cops have a lot of bad shit coming their way. They should have listened before they lost the good will of the American people. I don't trust them. I don't want them around. I don't expect them to protect me and mine, or even to do fuck all about crime against my property. So why should I give a shit?
Maybe they should stop killing innocent people and even little dogs because they "fear for their lives". What a bunch of pussies. They can take their blue line bullshit and shove it up their asses.
Once you accept that everything comes down to violence, then a lot of shit falls into its rightful place. The cops are just a gang. They do what they do for their own interests. We have to do what we do for our own interests.
I guess we all need a gang, basically.
Cops have it. Unions have it in a different way. The Chamber of Commerce has it. The NAACP. La Raza.
