Certainly... but, I gotta say, setting up a tax haven just so you can spend all your money on a brand new navy to protect your tax haven seems sort of like an own-goal.

Certainly... but, I gotta say, setting up a tax haven just so you can spend all your money on a brand new navy to protect your tax haven seems sort of like an own-goal.

The navy itself becomes an asset, like the Israelis, you sell high tech weapons which then funds your military.

If Rommel had taken Egypt, the Arabs would not have stood in his way to the South Caucasus.

In fact they would have flipped to the German side and joined him.
