All non-players fancy themselves shrewd backroom dealers. But they deal only in self deception.
Indeed. I call it Eskimo Communism. Made up fairy tales from the CBC state propaganda arm.

It's like "Peacekeeping" is just a euphemism for doing nothing.

Self congratulatory hand waving.

That is the essence of Canada.

“We’re not irrelevant! We’re diplomatic weight and potential king makers!!!”

“That’s a damn long-winded way to say: irrelevant. But ok. Call me the next time you make a King. Rather, the first time. Diplomatic weight.”

Moreover tho, they can't even get their lefty peacenik programs off the ground neither.

Even their vaunted Universal Healthcare is collapsing.

Without a profit motive, there's not enough doctors to go around.

So we would be more relevant playing your compliant sidekick... shooting up Iraq for whatever dumb ass reason you decided that was a good idea.
Cuz then we would be relevant right.

Funny how that works ... the masses decide they’re entitled to some form of labor ... and people providing said labor go elsewhere.

It’s almost like nobody wants to be systemically undervalued or work for free.

I'd rather work here than try to negotiate daily with your insane insurance companies...

Waste of my time.

Need to hire a staff just to jockey with them.

Canada was a willing sidekick in Iraq, air and naval forces were deployed in support.

The Canadian Army simply did not have the equipment to participate.

Same reason Canada didn't send ground forces in the first Gulf War.

You’d be a rider. A lil’ homie. A mensch. Someone we could rely on.

Or ... you know, you can cripple your military, bring nothing to the table, talk mad shit about us, and view yourselves as kingmakers.
Your call.

Doesn’t matter to me cuz as previously mentioned .... you’re kinda irrelevant. But when you do want something from us, it’ll be a real treat to see how you go about slinging that diplomatic weight.

Orly,
So then what's DB all sore about?
