For Gypsy lifestyle you just get an old school Weber charcoal.

Once you upgrade to homeowner tho, plugged into the gas is the way to go.

Why? Propane comes in little bottles. My little Coleman two burner saved my life.

This is a four burner, so it's big, you don't want to have to haul it around as a renter/gypsy.

But sure, if you like propane, Weber has those too.

I just like Weber.

I have it hooked up to the gas line from the house.

I just flip a switch and the same gas which is running the furnace runs the grill too.

Butane also comes in bottles. Same jet size but different regulator pressure.
Propane is more popular as Butane can freeze solid in the pipes if the temperature is below zero.

No, you can buy either type, there is propane model with a tank, and a natural gas model which hooks up to your house.

It's basically just an adapter hose instead of a propane tank.
