Bracco was Hunter Hockey Genius.
That was one of his good picks.
They traded down and got Dermott and Bracco in the second round.
Demott is top four D.
Bracco is poor man's Marner, and not even that poor.
They can trade Connor Brown and replace him with Bracco right naow.
Sandin will replace Gardiner/Muzzin the year after next.

The Marlies power play is exactly the same as the Leafs.
That's another thing they are doing right.
The Marlies are the training squad for the Leafs, they mimic the Leafs in every way.
So you can just plug people in, they already know the systems cold.
On the Marlies power play, Bracco plays the Marner role.
Plays it the same way, does everything Marner does.
They could plug Bracco in to be the Marner of the second power play unit, next year.
He's feisty too, he's a shift disturber/pest, so he can play a fourth line role that way as well.

The X-factor is Calle Rosen.
He's supremely talented.
He skates like the wind, puck mover, two way possession defenseman.
He's light tho. Light as a bird.
So I don't know if he can handle the grind in the NHL.
He's like a poor man's Jake Gardiner.
Gardiner is on the bottom pair now tho.
Rosen might be a stop gap there, until the Sandin cake is fully baked.

I thought Borgman was going to be the SHL free agent who panned out and I kinda wrote Rosen off.
But the opposite is the case, Borgman has kind of floundered while Rosen has taken off.

I think those two are a lock.
Liljegren is soft in his own end so he will take longer.
On the other hand Liljegren has gone from sheltered to the top pairing on the Marlies.
So Liljegren is progressing, just not nearly as fast as Sandin.

In fairness to Liljegren, Sandin's progression is stunning.
Sandin's rocket like progression is elite player progression.
Jumping up through the ranks from junior to the top D-man in the AHL playoffs as a rookie.
Like it ain't no thang.
I think he's the real deal.
Ceiling is Duncan Kieth 2.0

Eagles tied 1-1 with the Condors in their AHL playoff series. Agozzino with the hat trick on Saturday.

They've got Martin Kaut playing in the A, didn't send him back to Europe.
That's a good sign. That's Dubas style.

Yeah as soon as we drafted him, he was immediately like, "Ya I'll be in the AHL next year. Europe? Fuck Europe."
