Anybody can beat anybody. It's not about who you are playing.

The Loafs are still the Loafs, they haven't turned a corner.

Like I say, if they ever made the Finals, you can't help but be invested then.

The three rounds before that?

Meaningless. That not a win.

Worried about that potential VGK match up for the Avs, speaking of tough stylistic matchups. Hopefully San Jose can push this to seven, or even win the series, because that's a much easier matchup for the Avs. If VGK chokes, against the San Jose Chokes of all teams, I'd be surprised though.

Like I say, I wouldn't start worrying at all, unless and until you are actually in the Finals.

Pace yourself.

If the Avs make it to the finals, I'll probably pick against them every series along the way and probably in the finals too.

I would too. The Avs don't have the same pressure on them as the Loafs do.

No pressure Avs could actually win it all.

Didn't work for the Caps for 13 years, the Avs have less pressure on them than the Caps.

Mostly teams just crack under pressure until the get sick of that.

The Avs have no pressure on them, that's their secret sauce.

I would actually assert that the reason the Loafs lost is Marner.

Marner has been the Loafs Real MVP.

When he shows up, they win, when he doesn't, they choke.

If Marner shows up in game seven, that could save them.

If Marner continues to fade, I don't like their chances.

That's because the Caps had mad pressure on them for 12 of those 13 years, and only after everyone though it was time for rebuild and all the expectations were gone, did they finally stop choking, that was their secret sauce last year.

Like I don't blame Dubas, I don't blame Babcock.

This is all on the players,

They are pampered prima donnas who choke at home because the media blows sunshine up their asses.

That has always been the downfall of the Loafs, Harold Ballard notwithstanding.
