See? They just gave up two PP goals with them on the ice, Babcock will never fucking learn.
Rielly is not better on the pk. It's not his strong suit.
Regardless of whether or not it's his strong suit, having Zaitsev and Hainsey on the top PK unit is asking the hockey gods to smite you, and they did, twice in a row.
Again, the problem runs deeper than that.
They're choking at home cause they are over thinking and squeezing the sticks

He sucks at it, so I wouldn't bother.
Both these goals have been Freddie Toskala goals anyways.
That's because he sees idiots on the first PK pairing.
They're just choking, as a group they are over thinking it and getting in their own way, it's not on Hainsey and Ziatsev.
Tavares, Marner, Matthews and Nylander; all invisible right now.
You don't win hockey games when you ask the hockey gods to smite you with idiotic coaching decisions like that, whether it's on them or not. They are getting what they deserve.
The Hockey Gods do not take kindly to Hainsey and Zaitsev as the top PK pairing, time to wake up and read the writing on the wall Babcock.

On the first goal they lost the draw, Andersen wasn't set.
On the second goal Andersen kicked a rebound straight to Marchand.

The defense wasn't at fault for either goal.
Freddie Toskala was the problem.

It's bad juju dude, you are focusing on the tactics and not the strategy. The Hockey Gods don't take kindly to completely bat shit insane strategy, they smite the fuck out of that shit.

Everything is badjuju, the Hockey Gods are bad juju by nature.
The problem is they aren't taking control offensively.
They powerplay is choking, they are choking five on five, blaming Zaitsev and Hainsey is neither here nor there.

I'm blaming Babcock, not them. The Hockey Gods are smiting Mike Babcock for idiocy. 7 PPGs the team has given up this series, and Hainsey and Zaitsev have been the top pairing the whole time, no change up, the Hockey Gods want blood for that, Babcock was essentially begging the Hockey Gods to smite his hockey team, and they didn't let the opportunity slide.

It's a game of momentum, the Loafs are boosting Boston's momentum by failing to bury their chances.
It's a classic choke.
Agreed. But when the PK is the achilles heel, and you don't change anything, knowing it's the achilles heel, can't expect them to snap out of it and the hockey gods to not smite you for that.
