Mikko Rantanen baby! Fuck yes 3-1 series lead. Mike Smith was the only reason the Flames were even in that game.

Columbus did to Tampa what the Bruins do to the Leafs.

Tampa is a better version of the Leafs, Columbus is a better version of the Bruins.

Same thing with the Isles and the Pens, the heavier teams are beating the small soft teams.

This is why the Leafs are going nowhere. The Leafs are modeled on Tampa. Too small, too light, too soft.

Tampa also has the exact same defensive structural fatal flaw as the Leafs.

The left side of Tampa's defense is all world.

The right side of Tampa's defense is feeble.

Normally they are carried by Hedman and McDonagh.

Hedman looked hurt and McDonagh looks like he's aged out.

Both of them had a bad series, so Tampa's defense collapsed.

Same with the Leafs last night.

Rielly, who is the Leafs Hedman, had a terrible game, skating around with his head up his ass.

Hainsey and Zaitsev are feeble.

So even tho Boston played bad and Tukka Rask couldn't stop a beach ball, the Leafs still couldn't take advantage.

The Leafs and Tampa also suffering from a regular season where they weren't playing for anything down the stretch.

Both the Leafs and Tampa basically cruise through the regular season.

Then come playoff time, they can't get out of cruise control.

Avs right side of the blueline is pretty dope, Johnson, Barrie and Makar, take that Tampa and Toronto.

Johnson needs to be replaced, Makar, Barrie, Zadorov is fine, Johnson is too much of a cap hit for a guy who has Joffrey Lupul syndrome.

True, but for now, during this playoff run, he'll do just fine. We got Zadorov and Girard on the left side too, could even draft Byram if we really wanted to, though I'd prefer a center, best available, fuck the position based "but Makar and Byram on the same pairing though" shit.
