Dubas wouldn't pick a player to part with, in order to get the piece he needed.

Harder to get a 1C than a 1RHD though, Poile knows. He's tried trading them and no one was offering a 1C in return. You can blame him for not being able to draft one, but they usually go in the high end picks, and they haven't been a bottom feeder for a while.

While at the same time they don't have the 1RHD.
