Dude . . . they're cultist.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 4:20 pmCanadians call me a traitor.
I don't take it as a slight.
I wear their communist barbs as a badge of honor.
They can't take my medals from me.
I don't even care, I never wear the medals anyways.
Any Canadian soldier who seeks the approval of socialist dingbat Canada, is just slitting his own throat.
I don't say that to be flip, it's truly how I feel. The radical, identity-politicking, America-hating, victimhood-glorifying, left, is a pseudo-religious cult. They cannot avoid injecting their dogma into every conversation. They cannot avoid bringing it up inappropriate places like work, business gatherings, or family holidays. They simply can't. I might work with regular Republicans, Democrats, independents, Greens, etc, for years and NEVER know it. But if I work with a single SJW/socialist I will know about that shit within twenty minutes because they have this Jehova-Witness level compulsion to constantly evangelize. That's no exaggeration, that's fact.
For instance, I have a sibling that recently called me a white supremacist. Why? Because I support the border wall. Now, any rational being could conceive of reasons I might support a border wall other than white supremacy. But cultist can't. Cultist dogma teaches that there is only one reason to support a border wall, and that is because of white supremacy/racism. Nevermind that my sibling is well aware that my first spouse was Puerto Rican. Nevermind that my sibling is well aware that a third of our family, who I regularly interact with and help, are hispanic. Nevermind that they've never heard me utter a racial epithet in anger in my life - none of that matters. Only the teachings of the cult matters, and the cult says "white supremacy".
I don't take the barbs as a badge of honor, any more than I take some snake-handling preacher screaming that I'm damned to hell as a badge of honor. I just look at them as cultist zealots, and realize their religion is hostile to me. Then, I do my best to combat the spread of the hostile ideology as far as I am able.
