This is also where the Tyler Ennis signing pays off.
$650K took a flyer on him, turns out he was the hottest hand down the stretch.
No doubt he will be pumped to get in, which he always is, Ennis has been a spark plug for the Leafs lately.

Patty Marleau trolling retaliatory hit in the corner.StCapps wrote: Sun Apr 14, 2019 12:20 pmWell you did a good job of it. Could really use him with Girard being banged up and not being able to finish game 2.

Was still right about that though, even though I was trolling too. That's what made my Marleau hit job such good trolling, deep down, you knew I was right.

It's not that I don't loves me some Nazem Kadri, Kadri is me when I was young, I was a hot head too.
He's simply become superfluous, has more value a trade-able asset. Center for a Defensemen.
And we also don't need to pay $4.5 million for a guy to score 16 goals and then run around like a madman in the playoffs
I'd rather have a Nick Ritchie if I'm paying big bucks for that.

To be fair to Marleau the fact that he took so long to finally lose a step, is impressive as fuck, the longevity is next level.

He hasn't been the problem tho.StCapps wrote: Sun Apr 14, 2019 12:25 pmWas still right about that though, even though I was trolling too. That's what made my Marleau hit job such good trolling, deep down, you knew I was right.
For example Kadri retaliates for DeBrusk turnbuckling Marleau brutally, and it was a brutal hit.
Yet Patty Marleau jumps right back up like it ain't no thang.
He's actually a horse, and he actually skates faster than Kadri.
Bloated Two Phones bad contract notwithstanding.
