Lethal on PK, gotta love that, so close to making it 2-0 on that breakaway.
He's not Tavares. I've come to realize how good Tavares is now.
None the less, he creates the same sort of one two punch.
First you hit them with with MacKinnon.
Then you roll out the big kid next.
Leafs West would be more apt than ever.
It's just a question of the shot.
Dach has it all, it's just a question of seeing what his shot is like against NHL tendy's
That's the X-factor.
It's like I didn't give Tavares enough credit for his shot. His shot is Franchise.
Dach can dominate with his size and speed, I just can't tell what his finish is like until I see him in the NHL
He's second only to Hughes amongst North American skaters, so I'd say he is a safe bet.
He will score 20+ no problem, the question is can he score 40+
That is what separates Tavares from the pack. The shot.
If Dach can score like he does in junior, he's the Elias Petterson of this draft.
The only knock against Dach is that he doesn't put up huge numbers.
But sometimes a kid who is big and skilled, cranks out more points in the NHL playing with better players.
It's like Rantanen never put up huge numbers until he got to the NHL, but 6'4" 215 lbs and skilled; size matters.
If Dach can transfer his junior play to the NHL, he's like a Rantanen who plays center.
Can't really tell who will make the transfer and who won't.
For example Marner is even better in the NHL than he was in London, but when he was drafted, I was just hoping.
