This is why Dach is a good pick.

Dach can step right in.

He's not a project.

He's more like Brady Tkachuk.

Big, mean, and ready to play against men, right now.

He's a formidable combination of size and skill.

He won't put up points like Jack Hughes.

But he will put up points.

And Jack Hughes will never be 6'4"

Ceiling looks high to me. he could be the Elias Pettersson of this draft.

Just focus on his skating. His skating is exceptional for a kid that size.

Big as a house, skates like the wind, and he's got soft hands in close.

No matter what he would be an asset to the Avs.

Just structurally. Having the big beast to roll out after MacKinnon.

It's just a question of how many goals will he score against NHL tendy's.

It's hard to tell against junior goalies.

Yeah, the fact that he's so good down low should help at the NHL level, but still hard to tell against junior goalies. The size, hands and skating are encouraging, that's for sure.

He's the kind of player Jost needs to play with.

Somebody to make room, control the puck, crash the net.

He's not Jack Hughes, but he's a nice fit when you already have MacKinnon.

Lethal on PK, gotta love that, so close to making it 2-0 on that breakaway.
