Seattle begged for it.
Tax, after tax, after tax, after tax, they begged for it.
Now they can watch Bellevue prosper while they reminisce about the days when they passed $60million dollars in 'taxes for the homeless' while the money vanished and the problem exploded.
You earned it Seattle.
Live it.
How do the residents there feel about it? Are most of the folks you interact with siding with Amazon or the city? Also, how do people you encounter feel about the large influx of homeless people? I rarely talk about the shit on here with people outside the forum, idk if you do or not.
Most people in the Greater Seattle area saw it coming, and are sympathetic toward Amazon, given the endless taxation and wasteful nature of the City Council. The lunatics actually in Seattle are clinging hard to the "RICH OPPRESSOR HATES THE POORS, HAS ALL THE MONEY, GREEDY MALTHUSIAN WANTS PEOPLE TO DIE" mantra.
Because they're retarded fruitcakes.
But they believe that shit.
They really think if Amazon, Starbucks, and any other company making more than $10million a year simply handed their profits over to the City Council, then all of Seattle's problems would go away.
