Like I said, you win, I have no desire to impose on people who do not want me around.
The F-35 program is neither here nor there.
I would be embarrassed to keep posting on a forum where I am despised.
Clearly this is not the place for me, you have convinced me that I am not welcome here.

I see you tried to bury more arguments, so..
Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:40 pmAnd you know what's truly fucked up about the massive lobbying scheme run by this company? They are essentially taking tax dollars and handing some of it over to corrupt congressmen to ensure their programs get funded with even more tax dollars.
We talk about how fucked up the Clinton Foundation corruption is, but the F-35 program is absolutely massive scale corruption. They are spending somewhere north of 20 million dollars per year on paying off congressmen to keep this running. They also have to pay to hire Pentagon generals who retire, or to get them into lucrative think tank spots in exchange for their program loyalty. All of that money, really, comes from the American tax payers. They are taking American tax dollars to bribe politicians into handing over even more American tax dollars.
Does that not strike anybody as incredibly fucked?
This corruption scheme ballooned a 20 billion dollar program into a 400 billion program. It's basically the cost of another Vietnam War at this point, and growing.

Whatever.
You win.
I concede without reservation.
I'm still digesting the fact that I am not welcome here.
It's actually quite disheartening.

Re: F35 vs. A10?
Just step back from this and look at it for what it is.
I mean.. I read republican voters complaining about how fucked up it is that public sector unions can exist and lobby politicians in a vicious circle of graft. But there is no union in the history of mankind that is likely to reach this level of corruption whereby they can increase a 20 billion dollar project to 400 billion.
Forget the problems with the F-35 itself. Just think about the fact that this company managed to pull 400 billion of our tax dollars in a kickback scheme whereby they annually dump 20+ million to their congressional enablers in exchange for 400 billion long term revenue from our taxes.
The fact that this airframe doesn't really amount to much is just the cherry on top of this shit cake.

I don't care about the F-35 anymore.
The MHF doesn't want me around.
It's dispiriting.
Feels bad.

StA may not want you around, but as usual he's projecting his views of your posts on everyone else. He thinks he's the soul of America, and the soul of this forum, but he's just a kook.

It's his fault not yours, his grasp on reality slips more and more every year, and he's out to alienate anyone who doesn't agree with him at this point. Dude is probably too far gone to save at this point, feels bad, yeah, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 9:08 pmStA is DSL.
