This is why Ruby can't be a wise guy himself.
You can't send a wise guy on a mission where he is going to get caught.
You use Ruby, because he knows nothing, cant be traced back to Sicily by any means.

Did the govt ever seriously consider Chicago was behind this? Like, after Kennedy got Zapruder'd did they start putting the squeeze extra hard on Giancana's operations?Smitty-48 wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:56 pm This is why Ruby can't be a wise guy himself.

All Ruby said to Warren was "I want to tell the truth, but I can't tell it here, because my life is in danger here".heydaralon wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:58 pmDid the govt ever seriously consider Chicago was behind this? Warren told Ruby that he couldn't protect him. So Ruby never spilled the beans.
Ruby did reportedly say that he "wanted to convince President Johnson" that Ruby "was not part of the conspiracy" to kill Kennedy.

Why the fuck would Warren say that? The govt has fucked over countless informants over way lower stakes. In this scenario, it seems like Warren would have had the resources to protect him, or he would have just lied because of the nature of the commission.

The Warren Commission dismissed Ruby as a kook, they declared his mob connections to be irrelevant.heydaralon wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:06 pm Why the fuck would Warren say that? Thing is, Ruby was a kook, and so was Oswald.
But that is the thing that makes them the perfect patsies.
People say "Ruby wasn't mobbed up enough to be trusted to carry out a conspiracy",
But you don't use your own people to shoot somebody inside a police station.
You leverage some dupe to do that for you, and you don't even have to tell him why.
If he's scared enough of you, you just tell him to do it, or else.

Re: Best American General of All Time?
Well, up until the Arab Spring I used to not think the media deviated too much from the reality. But after reading about that shitshow and how the media basically recruited Al Qaeda PR people to get their coverage and completely misunderstood the whole series of events, I realized that 9 times out of 10 that the best you can say about them is that they wouldn't be able to get a fucking clue if they looked in the c section of the dictionary. At worst they are just fucking lying. Their coverage of the Syrian civil war, Assad, and this whole Russia Gate thing has proven to me that they are never to be trusted again. Shit, the New York Times has supported every single CIA backed coup in American history. The WMD thing, the Greenspan Larry Summers Rick Ruben piece etc tells me that watching the news is akin to picking up the latest issue of Pravda. Jack Anderson was often getting paid and influenced by the same lobbyists Nixon was, even though they were sworn enemies. The media in this country, especially at its early years, was literally paid for and owned by the rival political parties. Nowadays, it is the same way. So in the sense of hating the media and disbelieving any word that comes out of their whore mouths, I am fairly conspiracy minded.GloryofGreece wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:09 pmJust from all our talks, out of curiosity, how much more of a conspiracy minded person am I than you?heydaralon wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:06 pm Why the fuck would Warren say that? That being said, I am not really too much of a conspiracy theorist. For 99 out of 100 conspiracy theories, you can come up with just as much evidence for a diametrically opposed conclusion. I don't believe that almost all serial killers were puppets of the CIA. I don't believe the Jews control the world. I think we landed on the moon. I think that if we were able to see all the incompetence and beaucratic stupidity that takes place in the govt and corporate world, we would realize that these paranoid theories give them power and respect that is not due to them. So I guess I'd call myself a conspiracy theorist lite.
I am against nanny state-ism, corporate culture, HR, management, moral crusades, and attempts to control or curtail my behavior through data gathering or coercion, so in a way I am kind of paranoid.

I am definitely not a conspiracy theorist.
There's just too many cosmic kawinky dinks in the Kennedy Assassination to ignore the spookiness of it all.
And there is the glaring lack of any logical motivation for both Oswald and Ruby.

Re: Best American General of All Time?
I just don't want big govt telling me how to live, nor do I want some silicon valley faggot trying to get me to think the way they want me to think. The media and the education system do a great job of indoctrinating people to be a castrated farm animals, malleable clay in their nanny hands. If that is a conspiracy, then I think it is more than a theory. I think it is as certain as Newtonian laws. The fucked up thing is, you talk like that to people at your job or your family and they will look at you like you live in a cave and fingerpaint on the walls with your own shit.
I believe in that as the big conspiracy, but the Protocols of the Elders of Zion type stuff as being a little nonexistent one.
