Former Flames 3rd round pick 66th overall, Adam Fox, declines to sign with the Canes.

Will become unrestricted free agent, not this summer, but the summer of 2020.

Could be traded and sign sooner, but he's on a scholarship to Harvard so probably wants to graduate.

Native of Jericho New York. 21 years of age. 5'11" 185 lbs. RHD.

Comparable; Shayne Gostisbehere.

He's been doing pretty well this year too, has two more points than Makar in five less game. Not too shabby.

He's not blisteringly fast, but very elusive, deceptive, patient with the puck, high Hockey IQ.

Gets his shots through, jumps into the rush, will take it to the net.

Not great defensively, but not a liability neither.

Good news for Clubby, Adam Fox is a big Rangers fan so the Blueshirts are his most likely destination upon UFA.

Going from the Canes to the Rangers is quite the downgrade. Guess winning isn't that important to him.

In the summer of 2020 the Rangers might be back in the mix, teams turn around fast these days.

They're starting to amass young talent.

Andersson, Kravstov, Chytil, DeAngelo, Hayek, Miller, Lundkvist, Day, Shesterkin.

And they get a good pick this year.
