Interesting dialectics. Raise emission regulations in the name of the environment to justify Chinese slave labor.

Walk me through this: You hate the West, you hate freedom, you hate democracy, consume as much shit as everyone else
None of the above is true.

Ps, I only own one house. I live in a truck on a farm in England. This is why I can afford to travel.
Also, I am self-employed. I own my own business and pay myself well.
If shelf stacking paid well you would do the same.
My point still stands. There is no way you get from the United Kingdom of the Islamic State to France without emitting an enormous wasteful amount of carbon. Since you have repeatedly said you like castles and shit like that, undoubtedly a lot of your planet destroying activities are completely superfluous. You are encouraging all of us to have Spartan lifestyles to lower our carbon. Why not lead by example. Either live in France permanently or sell your property. Also, I like how you attempted to pull rank on me over careers and class shame. I am poor (though I am not stealing from the taxpayers and living off socialism the way you are). I wish I could care more about the planet, but I don't have the money. I'm living hand to mouth. I have to get a permit from the Florida department of meals every time I want to cook outdoors, as well as a permit for my bic razor everytime I want to shave. If I had the money I'd buy locally grown produce and meat.
I drove to France in a tiny car with a tiny engine. It only used about 15 gallons of fuel to get there.

ps, once my elderly mother with dementia passes away I will move to France.
Until then I have to maintain that house. I have been there once in the last 4 years, I need to go more often but I refuse to fly there so using my 18-year-old fuel efficient car is the most environmentally responsible way of getting there.
I could cycle I suppose but I don't have the time and I can't carry all the tools I need so driving is my best option.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Algore tolt me the same things about his "best options" regarding his Carbon Sins in Nashville.

Couldn't be avoided m'lord.

How do you hold up under the pressure? Weaker sinners need your testimony, brother.

I challenge anyone to show they have a smaller carbon footprint than me.

That is a pretty standard excuse for a standard carbon emitting lowlife:

"Uh, I can't get my carbon emissions down until it is personally convenient for me. I can't stop destroying the Earth because my current situation is personally convenient for me. I can't give up anything because it is personally convenient for me!"

You know who makes these excuses? Everyone on Earth.

Now that we have established that you are just as much a polluter (actually more of one) than any other person, we come to a problem. You create waste and dangerous greenhouse gases, but you seek to lecture and preach to others who actually have less of impact than you do. This doesn't make sense to me. Why don't you try explaining it better? Keep in mind, I am poor and don't understand a lot of the highminded, global ideas you put forth, so try to use smaller words so I can get it.

Right.
With such a stellar track record on carbon footprint assertions it only makes sense that Monte would now want to take the challenge down to the individual level.

... since there is no data to support anyone's individual claim maybe he can win this one, eh?

Easy.
Stop consuming shit you don't really need.

A mere 7 words to save the world.
