Re: Socialism
I forgot to get iced tea at the store.
So my wife just drove to the store right after me.
Says if I can drive to the corner than so can she.

LOL, I know you love the back deck, and so do I. Do you have a neighborhood pub the locals give you shit about driving to?

There's lots of pubs, but they're full of students, and I can't smoke, so I don't bother.

I'm a happy warrior recluse, I'm not really interested in socializing at bars anymore.
I only really ever did, to hang out with my army buddies and chase tail.
I put on ring on the Dorothy Gale tail, and my army buddies also prefer to hang out on my deck now.

I also just like to host family suppers now.
It's like ten adults and five kids, so it's like a party.
My mother in law is fun, we drink beer and watch sports.

I also party a lot with my Russian neighbors.
They've converted two properties side by side into one big Russo Sportsplex.
They got a hot tub and a large swimming pool and a tennis court.
So I hang out at the Sportsplex often.
I'm like Mr. Furley up in thur.

Know what, you can live in your gerbils habitat... I’ll live in a house.brewster wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:46 amIn YOUR opinion! Many of us live here in the NYC metro quite happily, it's actually very desirable if the rents are any gauge. It's pretty narcissistic to believe your personal taste is a universal constant.California wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:21 amBecause living like that, in a tiny space, crammed in with thousands of other people, with limited mobility, is hell.
Of course what I will be living in is energy efficient, uses thermal cooling and heating, and will produce energy by the roof’s heat.
But let’s ignore that, and realize that 90% of the houses can’t do what mine will because it was built with old technology.
Want to fix your world problem, fix it in China, India, etc.

We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND
