Does China actually develop its own weapons or does it simply buy them from another party like Russia? I know they make AKs but supposedly their were shittier than the Russian ones..

The Chinese make some okay stuff, the Russian stuff is better, the Chinese stuff is like a cheap knock off of the Russian stuff.

But if you look at J-20, it's just kind of dumb, it's not good at anything, it's not stealth, and its not that impressive aerodynamically. Nobody can even figure out what its job would be in a war.

It's basically a technology demonstrator/marketing campaign.

American kit is generally the best, Canada is just part of the American and British MIC's

Aside from Israel, which middle Eastern country has the best military? Obv not Saudi Arabia. Iran? Turkey? Do you think there will be a regionwide conflict there soon between Shias and Sunnis? Who do you think would win?

I personally think the Shias are better fighters. Hezbollah is probably the best irregular warfare force on the planet by a landslide. However, I do not know how strong Iran is in conventional military power. I suspect Israel would get on board with the Saudis if shit really hit the fan, because it seems like they hate Shia/Iran/Hezbollah etc for than the Sunnis.
