My wife doesn't like to stay up late anyways.

She goes to bed early and then gets up at the crack of dawn to go to the gym.

She hates disruption to her sleep schedule, she gets enough of that from jet lag.

My wife works so much, and then works out at the gym after, to the point where sleep is her favorite form of recreation.

I done my time in the PT trenches at O'dark thirty.

My wife is militarized now, I'm enjoying the dope smokin' Beatnik years which I missed out on as a youth.

My wife goes to this place called Orange Theory, and even tho they are Hipster, what they are doing is basically military PT for civilians.

If you really want to be an elite Operator, you have to go to the same routine my wife is on.

Like, everybody I know who passed JTF2 selection, they did not party.

All they did was work, workout, and sleep. Get up the next morning and do some more.

I was happy enough to be in Recce Platoon, that was elite enough for me.

I wasn't going to give up the party just to be SOF, work life balance for the win, too much army is too much.

My wife is exponentially more disciplined than I am tho, slacker is not in her wheelhouse.

I'm an Anglo German, she's more like a German German.
