Heydrich even saved his wife in the end.

Lina Heydrich was cleared of any wrong doing in the war, then she recieved a generous pension from the West German government because her husband was a veteran killed in action in the war.

Heydrich didn't save a goddam thing.

His family enjoyed the grace of the victor, to the extent they got anything out of the deal.

Heydrich left his dependents to the tender mercies of the Churchill Bolshies.
Actually, the Americans took good care of the SS, most of the SS ended up working for NATO.

Others fought for the French in Indochina. Then Algiers.
Ordinary Germans were the best of the lot in the 20th century shitstorm. How is that a defense of Heydrich again?

Otto Globocnik scored higher on the officer's test than Heydrich and he kept his foot locker in better condition. His attendance record was perfect, didn't ever have a bad attitude and he kept his cool even when things looked grim, yet he has been lost to history. Its really a shame that people always mention Heydrich as the best, when Globocnik was a far superior officer and human being.

You invoked infection by GSW as being insufficiently honorable a death to enter Valhalla.
False. And honestly, that's scurrilous.

I did no such thing.

And you should be ashamed.

Nobody likes a Martinet, Heydrich had the dash, that's why Himmler picked him.

Ashamed of what?

I was a soldier, who are you to tell me all about it?

Grün ist unser Fallschirm,
Green is our parachute
froh das junge Herz,
joyful the young heart
stählern unsere Waffen,
steely our weapons
sind aus deutschem Erz.
(they are made) out of German ore.

Drum Kameraden, hört die Parole
Therefore Comrades, hear the rallying cry
und prägt sie in das junge Herz hinein.
and engrave it in your young heart
Fertig zum Sprung,
Ready to jump
Signal gegeben,
Signal given
das Leben will gewonnen sein. x2
Life will be won

Gehen wir dann in Stellung,
We go then in service
geht es endlich los,

rufen wir "Hurra, hurra zum Gegenstoß".
we call "hurray hurray to (the) counter-attack
Drum Kameraden... x2

Ist die Schlacht zu Ende,
Is the battle over
ist der Krieg dann aus,
Is the war then done
ziehen deutsche Fallschirmjäger
German paratroopers pull out
siegreich nach Haus'.
victoriously home
Drum Kameraden... x2

Your credentials as a soldier are not in question. There is no need to resort to your personal record as some ruse to revise IRL history. What does that gain you? Why would you diminish your personal service in such a way?

Anyway, what you asserted about what I said about infection and "entering Valhalla" is demonstrably false and a sham.

You are telling me all about soldiering and what is an honorable death therein.

It's not a fallacy to assert that I was a soldier, while you have never served, so who are you to be telling me anything about it?
