In order to get an exemption from the Hypothetical Daralonian physical fitness exam, you need to be able to hypothetically do at least 20 pushups in under a minute or provide a fake doctor's note, which will not be easy

Push ups are too easy, chin ups are the gold standard.

15 full extension chin ups, pass.

Speed march; fighting order 3200 m/ 15 minutes.

Route march; Rucksack on 16000 m/ 2 hours

Upper body; 15 full extension chin ups.

If you can do that, you're good to go, stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door.

Bullshit. That ain't no march. HS kids running cross country are doing great to break 22 min on a 3k.

Boots on, helmet, assault kit, with rifle, two miles in fifteen minutes is minimum standard for the Canadian Army.

I don't know about HS, I don't remember what it was to make the football team, something similar tho.

In the army you run downhill and on the flats, walk uphill. Airborne Shuffle.

This is all scientific, HM Royal Canadian Infantry Corps has tested it comprehensively.

If you can do those three things, you can keep up with the rifle company in the field.

Which is good to go.

15 pull-ups is a lot. I dont know where I'm at right now but last year I was around 9. I'm considerably stronger since then because of my new job. Going to find out soon and post results.

15 chin ups is the standard which ensures that you will be able to overcome an obstacle by upper body strength.

9 chin ups is good, it's just not assurance.

Everybody has their own limit, 15 is just a cut off, not a limit.

I have a buddy who went JTF2, he could do 75 chin ups.

Don't believe. If a skinny high school kid in training wearing nothing but spikes, shorts and a tank top can only run a 5k in 22min, I don't believe even a very fit adult can do 3.2 in 15 wearing boots in full kit.
