If the video is actually inciting violence, that should be removed, but just recruiting for ISIS, that's should be protected speech. Cheering on a mass murderer while he live streams a video, is not necessarily inciting violence.

As for limits on free speech, I'm fine with Brandenburg v. Ohio, and you can fuck right off with the hate speech should be illegal nonsense, incitement to violence is already illegal, so there is no need for hate speech to be illegal.

That is not what matters. What matters is free speech, and if it isn't inciting violence, but a nutjob twists the words of others to rationalize mass murder, then person who said the thing that mass murderer used to rationalize the murder, is not even a little responsible.

"Inspiring", not simply "inciting", huh? See, when someone outright encourages and directs followers to commit murder, sure, arrest them. For inciting murder. But how do you provide the evidence for when someone has inspired a murder, or mass murder for that matter?

You don't solve conflicts in a democratic society by outlawing the voices of the angry, the disaffected, the frustrated, the ones with nothing to lose. No matter what they believe or say.
