You have never been more wrong in your life. That show is not that good. If we count the first half maybe, but the last 3 seasons dragged the average down big time
Your opinion on this is noted.

Kath wrote: Wed Mar 13, 2019 9:05 am Haters gotta hate. There's no such thing as a perfect show. There are always going to be slower parts, characters who aren't as developed as we'd hope, etc.

I challenge all of you who started hating the show in season 4 to not watch the final season. What's the point?

There's all kinds of shows I stopped watching once they went downhill. No need to waste my time watching a train wreck.

I think the show is awesome. The worst episode for me was still damn good.

I'm with daralon, the first four seasons made my top 10 shows of the year, but the last three seasons haven't made that list, and haven't really be close to making the list.

This coming from someone who gave up on The Wire, The Sopranos and Breaking Bad, while claiming Game of Thrones has no bad episodes, she gives up on television shows that are vastly more consistent than Game of Thrones in the episode quality department. She doesn't really know what truly great television is, so she confuses good shows for great shows, not that surprising really.

The best TV drama she's watched is M*A*S*H*, as far as I can tell, but all of the best shows in the golden age of television, she hasn't really seen much. This is why Game of Thrones is one of the best shows she's ever seen, it probably actually is, while we know that it's nowhere near as good as the best shows that we've ever seen, because we aren't TV noobs like she is.

Calling Kath a t.v. noob is probably one of the most hilariously backfiring insults I have seen here. I can't believe she let that pass without going for the obvious opening.

Get back to me when you've watched The Americans or something, watch something that's actually great for once in your life, instead of giving up on it, and assuming that good is as good as great gets. You want to write off the opinion of someone who has seen a lot of quality television in his life, and actually knows the difference between good and great, go ahead, you're only hurting yourself.

I give the best TV recommendations, daralon knows, so ignore them at your own boredom.

She's probably been too busy partying and banging chads in a full social life to ever catch up with your television queue.

The obvious opening is irrelevant, because her head start on me, still has me leaving her in the dust, and lapping her several times over. If she's too busy to watch TV, and has better shit to do, good for her, but that doesn't change the fact that I know a hell of a lot more about quality television than she does.

She probably does leave you in the dust in social activities, judging by your television consumption.
