Serious question: what would any of you do if the military takes over? Have you really considered that?

The only real defense you have against a military take over is veterans taking a stand against it. But if the veterans join the side of the Army, you are pretty damned well fucked.

All of human society stems from the warriors. It always has. To believe otherwise is an illusion. It's an illusion maintained by the beneficence of the military.

Venezuela is your case in point. People voted for the other guy. That did no good because the Army backed Maduro. The only way to take down Maduro is to split the Army to build a capable opposition.

In Spain, the Republicans started genociding Catholics and lost the Army. End result: the Army took over and started genociding communists.
