Millennial beards are pretty faggoty, really. Men have to shave clean to differentiate themselves from the hipster fuck boys now. The beard used to signal that you could handle shit. Now it signals that you probably can't even change a tire.

Beards are in vogue because Operators in GWOT started wearing them. I'm sure plenty of guys with beards don't consciously base a bears on that, but there's a fair bit of Operator LARPing going on.

That said, Beards haven't been cool since 1900, it's probably due again.
