Oh yeah, by far.
Alan Alda ended up with far too much control of the show. The last couple seasons are nearly unwatchable. But Sherman T Potter, he was worth watching.

I liked both Alien and Aliens, for different reasons, my military side has to give it to Aliens though. I only watched the Godfather series in the last few years for the first time......... some would call that un-American. Godfather II is pretty damn good. You list many more good ones.


Westerns were in their Twilight, Wayne would die, the Spaghetti Western had a good run. The Sacketts put the era to bed in great fashion. What a fantastic cast, Tom Selleck, Sam Elliot, Glen Ford and Ben Johnson.
