I think a potential problem with having looser libel laws (or hearing more libel cases etc.) is that it could be used to shutdown people that have unpopular opinions. The rich or powerful can simply shut people down by suing them for "libel". Going on to bury the normie by burying him under lawsuits for libel. IDK its a difficult situation honestly.

I think they are wary of his influence and popularity on Youtube. But he's not too powerful to matter that much when all the tech companies come crashing down on him if they want to. Alex Jones and him had a rough parity in viewership / listeners and that didn't help Jones. The biggest issue is the inability for people to participate in regular banking. Once that goes then how would they pay their light bill? No money no internet no way to keep the show going.
