I try to keep in mind that she's still in her 20's, and therefore should be expected to be arrogant, ignorant, and Marxist.
I mean . . . 20's, man.
That's prime ignorance/arrogance/Marxist time.
And she's one congressperson out of 435 in the House of Reps . . . so screw it.
/shrug

Judging from the media you'd think she was vice president.

No Fucking excuse. I wasn't Marxist in my 20's. I was though, in the US Army opposing Marxists in Europe, Central America, the Pacific and the Carribean. Being young is not an excuse.
Your experience is an outlier. As StA loves to point out, very few of us served in the military in our 20s.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

I didn't serve and was never a Marxist either. Sounds like a "kids will be kids" kinda statement using her age to excuse her views.

Didn't Gillette teach you people anything?

Sure, all the hard-asses are like "BEING A KID IS NO EXCUSE" . . . until their kid is facing heat for saying or doing something stupid.
Then they fold like lawn chairs.

Save it.

Seriously though. It's one thing to go see the Gyno Ghostbusters and say you like it to go along, it's an entirely different thing to roll the Green New Deal Marxism plan.

We do far too much coddling of kids. It's been going on for at least 25 years. We should be able to demand high standards and operating with values of people over 18. That's not too much to ask.

If your kids get excited about the Green New Deal plan because they're young, and they don't understand the various realities that make the plan unworkable, and they feel good/excited about fighting the good fight for "Mother Earth" - I fully expect you to backhand them and subject them to public humiliation over the internet.
BECAUSE BEING YOUNG IS NO EXCUSE.
And that's for your kids too.

Derp.

No one is buying that hard-ass bullshit. Youth is an excuse.
That's why we have age limits on driving, drinking, voting, enlisting, etc.
Maybe we need to raise those age limits to 40 tho.

Seriously, the amount of programming kids get about the environment is unreal. Kids fucking care about that shit. It's a simple thing to get them worked up over it.

Sorry bud, ain't buying it. Like I said first go at this. I didn't fall for that lefty bullshit when I was in my 20s. I was raised to embrace the fuck out of freedom and liberty, to question guvment and to be self reliant. Trust in family and the creator. I'm not joking, and I'm not being a blowhard either. Just the way I see it.

I will say this. I will be more lenient of people for making stupid decisions when they are young......... for a while. We keep pushing the age of being an adult responsible for their decisions back, as you say, maybe it should be 40. Then Lefties want 16 year olds to vote. I'm fine with 16 being the age of being an adult, for everything.

When you are elected to congress then yes, you are going to be held to a higher standard than the guy working at Subway.

They didn't elect themselves.
They were elected by a whole community of people who thought the judgment of a 28 y/o bartender was the best representation they could muster.
