I've seen a lot of weapons systems hyped. Best wait until they become proven performers in combat.

Boeing is also in the pocket of the unions and so the Democrat Party, Boeing is an airline maker first, defense contractor second, it corrupts them, Lockheed Martin has no left wing labour interests, because LMT only makes weapons.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:20 pmThis shit is Warhammer but irl. The only hype going on is from commie cat face and mother jones trying to tie our hands behind our back.
Eurofighter is in the pocket of the French unions, because Typhoon is Airbus Group.

Socializing weapons platforms is about as retarded as telling every peasant he's a knight.

All the other competitors would be out of the game already, if they weren't being propped up for the unions.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:25 pmSocializing weapons platforms is about as retarded as telling every peasant he's a knight.
LMT employees are of course unionized, and more power to them, but they aren't beholden to the unions, because they don't make airliners.

There will be weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings. First of all, I doubt one weapon system can 'do it all' as is being presented here.. Doesn't mean it won't be successful and valuable to have in the stable.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:20 pmThis shit is Warhammer but irl. Fallacious canard, the contract was not mandated to do it all, nor have we invoked it as such, the mandate was to provide a scaled down but more advanced version of the F-22 Raptor concept, which could both replace American 4Gen teen series, while being able to export it to all of America's allies as well, to corner the combat aircraft market.C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:34 pmThere will be weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings. Dukenog has it exactly right, it's the Henry Ford-35.

Think of it like this. This is the calvary. Only you never saw it coming or going and instead of trying to tie itself up it just gets in and gets out. And there are like 5000 of them.C-Mag wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:34 pmThere will be weaknesses, limitations and shortcomings.
