There needs to be UFC v. Bellator crossover, like interleague play in MLB

They need an MMA Superbowl. Football was bush league until the two leagues came together.

UFC usually doesn't like to co-promote, unless Conor McGregor and a massive pay day is involved. They don't like to give their competition any shine.

I just looked it up, Bellator is Viacom, if UFC and Bellator come together, it's a ten billion dollar enterprise.

Re: What's going on in India?
They already have that, it's called the UFC. Ever since Zuffa bought Pride FC, that was the two leagues coming together.
Back in the day, Pride was actually better, filled big arenas in Japan, but they lost that fight when the Kakutogi Boom went bust, when Yakuza involvement being made quite public through scandal made Fuji TV dump them.
The UFC has ruled the MMA roost ever since, the occasional upstart MMA promotion like Affliction, EliteXC, Strikeforce and Bellator sometimes get their hands on a few good fighters for a stretch of time, but no real challenger to the UFC has emerged since Pride was bought.

Then UFC should buy up the competition, they've got 4.2 billion, make Viacom an offer.

Re: What's going on in India?
No point. They are basically the UFC farm system now, except WMEING don't have to pay to run it, like Zuffa did back in the WEC days.
#WECNEVERDIE
The UFC doesn't get all the talent, all at once, but they do get over 95% of it. Most of the best holdouts eventually sign with the UFC, Fedor Emelianenko of course being the major exception, but he's washed up now. They don't need to buy up the competition, when the competition comes to them.

I mean UFC should buy Viacom, vertically integrate, Viacom shares are suppressed, UFC could have its own network

The UFC used to air on Spike TV, formerly TNN, now the Paramount Network, who are owned by Viacom. Been there, done that, hence the FOX deal, and now the ESPN deal.

But why cut Disney in on the deal? UFC can be its own empire.
