Bear in mind that Pakistan is the ones who gave the nukes to North Korea, so need to be careful about what tech you share with Pakistan, to say the least.

Except F-22 fights exactly like F-35 and F-35 is actually an improvement on the sensor fusion side, so it's another nonsensical case of the F-22 is amazing while F-35 is junk fallacy.

An export version of the F-35 is literally harmless. The only thing I would worry about in giving them an F-35A is the hardware used in its avionics and the ECM system.

Other than that, it really is a fucking ridiculously underperforming aircraft. It's actually a good choice for export.

LOL, no.

An F-22 is the next installment of the F-15 concept, which was an advancement from the F-4 concept.

F-35 is just a stealthy updated concept similar to the F-16.

It's literally harmless to America. The F-22 has good range, performance, and capabilities. The F-35 is just shitty all-around.

The lawn dart philosophy is DOA. The only way to keep it going is literally through corruption.

Except, America has many more missions to fulfill than simply air superiority, and the F-22 doesn't fulfill those missions, thus why there was a 4th Gen Hi-Lo mix and there is a 5th Gen Hi-Lo mix to replace it. /shrugs

I will grant you the F-35 is a really good choice for export to our client states since it's a subpar performer but is still effective against Russian and Chinese client states for now.

America deserves something that is actually effective, though.

Dominating global markets is actually America's most important mission.

But F-35 was never intended to replace the Raptor.

And Lockheed Martin shareholders did not tell Obama to cancel the Raptor.

The people who said cancel the Raptor, are the same people saying cancel the Panther too.

Yeah, no shit. That is what I am saying. ALL of those other missions are better met using F-15X and at a much lower cost.

Nothing that we would need stealth for is appropriate for the F-35.

We are better off with stealth air superiority fighters and stealth bombers.

If you want to use stealth for air interdiction, then we need something new.

The F-15X is a better airframe than the F-35 for anything you could reasonably use an F-35 to do. Nobody is going to be able to fly an F-35 deep into Russian-defended airspace because it doesn't even have the range to get there. It's useless for that.

F-15 is not survivable, it's more expensive than the F-35, but it's not stealth, so it's obsolete.

A MiG-21 can shoot down an F-15 with the R-73M, so it's not worth spending money on F-15 anymore.
