We could have easily won that war, but we didn't feel like Canada had anything worth taking. Aside from some seals and polar bear shit, what would America even be able to do with a vast frozen wasteland?
Eventually, Canada will be invaded, and the US will finally settle this treasonous secession problem to our north. Probably after oil becomes scarce, and the tar sands start looking mighty appealing.
