If I was Marty Hash rich I would drink Lagavulin mostly, but I would still have Makers Mark too.
I’ll order some tomorrow night when I take the wife dancing, on your recommendation.

Lagavulin is the king of single malts, smoky peat like no other.

Makers Mark is spicy and strong, but smooth as glass none the less.

I can do 2, maybe 3, whiskeys with a Bud back over 4 hours while dancing Old School with the wifey to a live band. Any more than that, I get sloppy, flirty, and embarassing.

Lagavulin is special to me, for special occasions, for the Highlanders, faithful unto judgement day, Cuidich 'n Righ

Makers Mark is Dixie, tastes like; planting aristocracy.

In terms of vino, if I had Hash cash at my disposal, I'd probably try the Mayacas 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon.

But trailer park boy as I am, I can't justify $125 for a bottle of wine.

I've invited Capps back many times; his reticence transcends facile explanation.
There ya have it. I'm calling you out Capps.
Sounds like the Boss rolled out the red carpet.
I take that as the Boss won't ban your ass just because you might rub Marty's rhubarb the wrong way.

Any arguments Dr Hash ?
Bump

Need an agreement from you two rock heads

For the good of the Forum
Alright, fine.

Just so that you are all aware, Hash's "I welcomed him back with open arms on many occasions, he just won't come back" routine, is complete bullshit. I am still under Capps-only posting restrictions that he STILL refuses to lift, no matter how many times that I ask him to.

Hash claims they aren't Capps-only posting restrictions, and that they apply to everybody. So I asked that if they truly applied to everyone and not just me, then where is the thread where he posts those rules of the forum for everyone to see, so everyone is playing on a level playing field? That thread still does not exist, and I have asked him that so many times that I lost count, and never, even once, have I gotten an adequate response from him on that matter. In fact, nine times out of ten, when I ask that very question, he just starts ignoring me, the other one out of ten times, he never even addresses that point.

I told him that if he posted a thread, with forum rules that everyone has to abide by, or he just dropped all the rules, so there is a level playing field, then I would be back in a heartbeat. The only response that I ever got to that, was crickets, he has never responded to me telling him that, not even once.

Hash banned me for several hours for disagreeing with him in his own thread, which he views as deep disrespect, worthy of censorship, because he's trying to get famous and doesn't want to be challenged in a way that makes him lose face by losing an argument in those threads.

If Hash doesn't not adequately respond to this post, then this is the last thread on this forum that I will ever participate in, no matter how many times he facetiously claims to want me back.

I don't want my PM privileges revoked because I dared to disagree with Martin Hash in his own thread, or whatever other arbitrary punishment he can think up, for whatever reason under the sun.

If there are rules that I have to follow, then everyone else better damn well have to follow them as well, or sayonara MHF, I'll just stick to PMs in that case.

Making up rules on the fly, that no forum members even know about, and selectively enforcing them on a whim, is not an acceptable state of affairs for the proper return of StCapps to the MHF. The ball is in Hash's court, no matter how much he tries to put that on me.

Just watch yo.

I bet Hash is still going to keep holding the grudge, he'll just pretend that he isn't, but he'll never actually adequately address the points I just made, he's just going to play innocent and blame me, just like he has for almost a year now.

I let this go long ago, it is Hash who is stubbornly refusing perfectly reasonable requests that would allow me to return, not the other way around.

At this point I am used to it, but just so you all know, he's lying through his teeth about this, and has counted on me not posting to defend myself to convince you that it's all on me, and he dindu nuffin wrong.

This is awesome right now, we got two forums going at once, Brock and Tecumseh trolling the Americans and the Canadians at the same time.

We'll see how long trolling the Americans lasts, I highly doubt that Hash will lift his Capps-only posting restrictions, or post a thread with rules that apply to everyone and not just me, he's just way too stubborn.

Hash wants the right to arbitrarily punish people on his own whims, even when he claims there are no rules publicly, and only against posters he doesn't like as much as his favorites. Which is his prerogative, his forum after all, but that isn't a forum that I want to post on, hell even the snowflake Canadian forum we post on doesn't moderate that ridiculously.

So this will probably be the last thread in this place that I participate in, if the way that Hash has handled this situation up until this point is any indication.

Maybe the public pressure on him will make him knock it off though, the public pressure is what made him go crazy during the Hockey Talk War after all, perhaps it will also help him return to a semblance of sanity as well, but that seems like wishful thinking from where I stand. Hope Hash proves me wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.
