I have not read it. I was just searching for some kind of general history of the American South, and there do not appear to be very many books on it. This is one of the few ones I found. I bought the book Albion's Seed awhile back which kind of covers some of the origins, but I have not read it.

The Republicans need to make Dems look like racists and uncaring political party , use their own rules against them.the red elephant talked about this and it's a valid point and strategy .

It only works on other non-democrats. Liberals and progressives know they are racist as fuck. They are constantly accusing others of their own crimes because it works against us. It is just their regular gaslighting.

It does not work against them, however. Most could not care less, and those who are most harmed on their side by the racism and sexism are too deluded or ignorant to know any better.
