This is a very shrewd strategic move. The oil in Venezuela is enough to guarantee US Oil industry for decades. Why fight 4000 miles away, when you can pull your enemies in by the belt for a tenth of the cost.

This is a major move and will give the US clout to BTFO the rest of the world no matter what. Victory in Venzula can ensure another century of US domination.
