"Liberating" Vuvuzela, A War I Can Get Behind

Post by kybkh »

Venezuela can be the most useful strategic asset the US has had since Aramco!

Imagine, have troops stationed in Iraq and Venezuela and having Saudi Arabia in our pocket. We could literally do an oil embargo by ourselves, ensure the survival of the Petrodollar and fulfill Monroe Doctrine it with relative ease. Doesn't matter what Russia or China think, they couldn't make the logistics work if they wanted to give military support to Maduro.

If were gonna be an empire, at least be ruthless about it...

The only nation that can realistically refine Venezuela's oil in large amounts is the United States. China was going to try to build the refineries that can do it a few years back, but I am unsure if they followed through with it.

Crude oil is not all substitutable. Venezuela's oil requires specific technologies to produce gasoline and other products. Most of the world is tooled for light sweet crude.

Also, occupying Venezuela is not acceptable. I don't think any nation wants to do it. They are on their own.

This is exactly why Russia planted their bombers there.

I think what really intrigues me is Mexico's move. Talk about opening up a whole new line of attack to close the borders. Now we have a openly hostile neighbor to our south?

What are the Democrats going to say about Mexico now that they are siding with Putin??

Democrats will remain oblivious to their contradictions and many falsehoods. Same as ever.

Neo-cohens: WTF I love Trump now!

The Rubio doctrine: U.S. recognition of new Venezuelan leader is Florida senator’s work
WASHINGTON -- Marco Rubio’s efforts to increase international pressure on Nicolás Maduro’s regime, and to push the Trump administration to take a tough stance on Venezuela, have paid off big.
