Our new Florida Governor is looking good; far better than Scott, at this point. He's got some good conservation ideas, ideas about fixing the Everglades, etc.

He basically told the asshats in Tallahassee to get the MJ laws in alignment with the constitution or he'd do it for them. He's also not opposed to making it recreational.

I got my medical card, btw - I haven't had to use Xanax nor Ambien, since. It's amazing what can happen when the state finally tells big pharm to fuck off. My doctor believes she'll be able to get me off a couple of other meds, at some point, though, likely not the main mood stabilizer.

It feels good to not be poisoning myself with big pharm products. It also helps our water supply.

I'm sure they will try. They own a bunch of Congress creatures, so I suppose they could get Daddy G to force all the existing producers to close down and create a monopoly. If they do, it goes to the SCOTUS and {hopefully} loses. (Hopefully our new court won't allow such blatant cronyism to occur.)

I, personally, would not switch to a big pharma brand. The current producers are making some quality stuff and are developing a following. Pot users HATE big pharm, so I don't see them scrambling to switch over in favor of big pharm.

Medical Mary Jane was a poison pill. We got weed a little earlier, but now big pharma ain't ever gonna leave it alone. Shoulda stuck with the libertarian principle.

No, but thanks for caring about the state of my condition. I'm more active then I've ever been, and taking far less big pharm products. My alcohol and "high" times are far less frequent, now.
