The military are the ones who actually run the government. And the courts. And the gangs.

I don’t get my hopes up on Venezuela, honestly at this point in time if it flipped upside down I could care less.BjornP wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 2:21 pmAs does Trump. Who knows, the military might think that persuasive... or they might not. North Korea has a history of not really given much of a damn about neither Russia or the US's interests or desires, either. We could be looking a live feed of this guy getting executed by forces under some general who owes all his power, status and wealth to Maduro in a few hours.
Or the new guy could win. And we be cheering his downfall on in two years time for whatever reason.
I know people from Venezuela most of are assholes They left their country because of corruption, they come here in the US and they actually self and titled dicks.
The only thing Venezuela had for for a good long time was a flourishing economy until the president of that time decided to cause it to implode, now it’s a joke. If this guy is their savior good. If not I just say walk away from the crater, Because it’s a shit show waiting to happen.

Jair M. Bolsonaro
Brazil recognizes Mr. Juan Guaidó as President in charge of Venezuela.
Brazil will politically and economically support the transition process in order for democracy and social peace return to Venezuela.

And he can't step down. He has nowhere to go, and they are going to murder him in the streets if he loses.

I don't know the numbers, but Millions would be pretty typical of Collectivist regimes like this.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 8:25 pmMillions.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 23, 2019 5:31 pmCivil war incoming. No way Maduro has starved a million people, only to step down now.

He could possibly get out to Cuba. It's basically his only ally right now.

Seems we’re not doing a regime change there after all.
