He also was eventually upset by the Anabaptist which is sufficiently ironic.

Luther had a very extreme scatological obsession. I think roughly translated he also told the devil to kiss his asshole or something. I'm not trolling btw.

That's kind of odd because satanists have a tradition of kissing the devil's butthole. Was he implying he is the final boss? Was he the Antichrist?

Oh yeah he threw his shit pot at the devil too lol. Forgot about that. I heard the stain was there for centuries. Nobody bothered to paint over it.

Water mills and Church services...

There seem to be plenty of empty niches left on the internet for podcasters...

I've been listening a lot to The Godcast. It's about Christianity in general from an Alt-Right perspective. One of the hosts went to seminary school or whatever to become a Catholic priest, which I think is pretty cool actually. It's really heartening to see young kids seeking their religious roots these days.

Even just a day to day account of an average peasant's life in the medieval or ancient world would be interesting. Like an hour by hour breakdown describing their religious/work/social life. Don't think too many of those folks kept journals or records that survived, but idk.

Maybe that show would be boring, but to me it would fill in a lot of blanks. Frankly, I'm tired of Dan. The final product is not worth the hype anymore. I'm sorry, but it should not take a year to make a several hour podcast that simply takes books (that he has already read btw and did not write) and create a narrative incorporating them. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but Dan has gotten lazy like the champion boxer analogy he used to make. Now there is lots of competition. Cooper has an actual job that probably eats up his time and forces him to travel, and his stuff to me is far better than anything Dan has made in years. This is Dan's Job, and now he's only doing a single podcast since he pussied out on his political one. Are you going to tell me with a straight face that he is even taking this shit seriously anymore? One episode per year covering extremely popular topics filled with secondary sources that are easy to research does not a career make. I feel dumb for ever thinking Dan was this amazing revolutionary thinker. He has a good voice, so maybe he would be better off hanging up his podcasting spurs and just narrating audiobooks that other more talented, interesting thinkers have written.

I can't into bollelli. I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on him. Sell me on bollelli.
What can I say...
My favorite Bolleli was his series on Cortez and the Aztecs.... this is one of my favorite history series of all time.
If you don't like that series - I can't help you or sell you on this guy... just forget it.
Joan of Arc was my next favorite.
Slave Wars were epic.
Native American stuff is only interesting if you are into native americans...
Teddy Roosevelt was cool cause he was pretty badass.
Caravaggio - same reason - even Jack Johnson... Bolleli likes badass crazy dudes and the pirate chick episode was kind of similar... plus fire boats.
Gladiators was also very cool...
47 Ronin was ok.
You can take a pass on the Italian mafia episodes... I didn't like those...

Dan has also been fucking phoning it in on his weak-as-fuck Hardcore History Extra episodes. They are extra. Extra boring. For his Max Hastings one he literally just reiterated the same shit about the US, the Media, and DC/Public Trust he has discussed in Common Sense for like 10 years. Personally, I would have liked to hear Hastings give more POW stories from the Hanoi Hilton, but Dan decided to make that interview extra bland. Seriously, it felt as though he got behind on his property taxes or some shit and he had to come up with a quick way to make a buck. It was fucking weak. He needs to just retire if he is going to halfass it. Either you die based, or you live long enough to see yourself become the cuck.

I guess it does if you own prime podcasting real estate.
He got out there early and struck a claim on gold... before anyone else got there.
He worked hard for a few prime years and got a jackpot of followers... and now he can rest on his laurels.

This is how it works folks!
Innovate... bust a hump at the right time and in the right place....
And then you can rest on your laurels and live the good life.

I mean I'm jealous too... but then I didn't jump on that opportunity so I don't resent him for doing so...

I think being mad at Carlin is just entitlement and resentment... it's also probably bad for your health...

So cut it out... ;)

P.S. Dan jumped the shark politically... this is true.
