No - they are completely reasonable....Pelosi knows the longer this goes on the more time there is for the marxist news outlets to bash Trump and the GOP....she also knows that Trump can't back down because his base won't support him next go around - the Wall was the biggest promise he made....There is simply no reasons for the DNC to talk with Trump....the question is...why is Trump waiting to declare National Emergency and put the Army on the border?

right now seems like it would be a good opportunity for the democrats to negotiate for something like amnesty or healthcare or whatever pet project they want, if we weren't all so focused on the 2020 election and how the wall negotiations will play into it, maybe they could get it done

How many workers got furloughed? 880K...right? No biweekly pay so they don't have cash now so doesn't take much to figure of they won't be able to pay rent, insurance, groceries, etc.

Almost a million non-essential Government employees. How does that strike you? Almost a million people drawing five or six figure paychecks, plus retirement, plus medical benefits, plus dental, plus generous paid vacation, etc, etc ... all going unpaid right now.

Is the crime that we’re stranding hundreds of thousands of American families without an income?

Or is the crime the fact that almost a million families are drawing income directly from the productivity of other American families without providing any sort of essential service to the American people?
